CHARITY OF THE WEEK: Children and Young People taking exams
This week we invite you to pray, not for a charity, but for all the children who are taking exams over the next few weeks. This includes Year 6 children (who will be leaving Primary School this summer – those in our local schools will be given an It’s Your Move book from our charitable giving) who are taking SATs next week, and also those taking GCSEs, A levels, and any other College or University exams. At our PCC meeting last week we decided to donate books to the young people in Get Closer (our group for young people at Secondary School) who are going to University this autumn. These books will help equip them to maintain their Christian faith amid all the pressures of university life.
